THE OVERVIEW
Offered for an appreciating new owner is this groovy classic 1982 Volkswagen Westfalia  Vanagon Camper bus!
Finished in what looks to be mostly all original burnt orange paint over brown interior. the non-working odometer showing just over 168,000 miles, this camper version of this Westy sports a great running 1.9 liter diesel engine mated to the 4 speed manual transmission. Features include a nice folding canvas pop top, brand new tires, factory appliances, swivel seats, radio, roll-up windows, working hvac fan and rubber Vanagon floor mats. It is being sold with clear and clean California title and current 2022 registration.
THE BODY AND TRIM
The exterior of this 1982 VW bus is in quite original condition overall with a nice overall shine to the paint finish. The tires are brand new, the soft top is in very good condition. The body features a large assortment of nicks, scratches, faded and a few touched up areas. It gets a solid A- for originality with minor corrosion spots and other cosmetic blemishes.
THE INTERIOR
The interior of non-smoker Westy is in fair to good original condition overall with working speedometer and blower motor, groovy swivel seats, non-working odometer, intact appliances, working horn, headlights and blinkers and working door locks. As you can see in the photos, the seat upholstery is torn, the dash and door panels are in good condition, the ashtray looks to be unused and the factory fuel gauge is supplemented by the dash-mounted gauges. The stereo powers up but emits no sound and I am not sure about the working condition of the appliances as I, frankly, have not assessed them. The fridge door does not stay shut.
