Listed for sale here is a candy paint kit containing 1 quart of base, 1 quart of candy (15 colors to choose from),
1 quart of clear (2 clears to choose from) and all needed activators and reducers for each.  Use the drop down menus at the top of the listing to choose your candy color, clear, and reducer speed.  Each kit will come with standard (medium) activator for the clear and candy.  Each color comes with our stellar silver basecoat except the black candy which is shown over and comes with a charcoal grey base instead.
Tech sheets outlining mixing and use will be offered with each order or download them from the UreChem-Paints website.
Note: While true 3 stage candy colors offer unmatched depth and unique look, they do not hold up as well in the sunlight as our conventional automotive paints.  This is true of any true 3 stage candy paint no matter the brand and how much you pay for it.  The amount of time they last depends on how much time they spend in the sun. Candy paints generally last 2-10+ years depending on the color and level of sun exposure.  If you require longer life consider one of our 2 or 3 stage pearl colors which can have a similar look that lasts longer.
CHECK LOCAL REGULATIONS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH YOUR INTENDED USE. Customers using these products in low VOC markets must purchase the low VOC kit to ensure compliance.

Which clear should I use?
The clear you purchase depends on the personal preference of the person painting.  The MS Clear is a little easier to apply than the HS clear but the HS clear can give you a deeper wetter look in fewer coats than the MS clear.  In general, both clears provide a glossy durable finish but the MS clear requires an extra coat or two to reach the depth and “wet look” the HS clear offers when properly used.
How much is it to add primer to this kit?
The cost depends on which type of primer you need.  We offer a wide array of primer tailored for specific applications.  Here are some general recommendations:
Epoxy Primer
– Required for corrosion resistance and adhesion over bare metal.
Urethane Primer Surfacer
– Best for filling in small imperfections and easily sands to a smooth uniform surface.
Urethane Sealer
– Great choice if your paint is already in fair condition and you don’t need body work.  Available in a wide range of colors to reduce base color needs and reduce visibility of stone chips and gouges.
Adhesion Promoter/Plastic Primer
– If you are painting over bare plastic it is best to use a primer designed to adhere and flex with your plastic

Can I use your products with another brand’s primer, clear, reducer, color etc?
It is impossible for us to test our products with every other brand of paint product so we can not guarantee it will work.  Therefore, we only recommend you use our brands of products as a system.
Is this kit enough paint to do my car or bike?
How much paint is required depends on the color you choose, the size of the vehicle you have, and how much of the vehicle you are painting.  Generally speaking a car kit is typically enough to the outside of a mid sized vehicle plus 2 door jambs.  If you have a larger vehicle, or you plan to paint inside the trunk, under the deck lid or hood or engine bay you need more paint.  Bike kits will handle the average sized bike but additional material may be required when painting larger touring bikes or bikes with a lot of pieces.  We recommend purchasing extra to have on hand in case you need it.  You can return un-opened containers for a refund less the shipping we had to pay.

We currently are offering free shipping to the continental USA on all our items sold through ebay! If you order multiple items all items may ship together or separately depending on the items and shipping regulations.  Many items can be shipped to Canada where ground service is available. Customers in Canada please contact us with your postal code to verify we can ship to your area before you purchase. We do not ship to APOs, FPOs, or anywhere outside the continental USA.  We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
Shipping Times
We work hard to ship items as quickly as possible.  However, due to the nature of these items, processing and shipping time (the time it takes us to get your items packaged and turned over to UPS or Fedex) can vary between 1 and 3 business days depending on our order volume.  This does not include your transit time which we define as the time FedEx or UPS has your package(s) until they are delivered.  Transit times vary between 1 and 6 business days depending on your location.  Typical order arrival times (the time between when you complete payment for your order and when you receive your items) are shown in the map below.  This map does not constitute a warranty or guaranty of any kind.  Always order as far in advance as practical.  Weekends and holidays do not count as business days.
We accept Paypal.  Payment must be completed within 7 days of purchase.  If you are not able to pay within 7 days please contact us as soon as possible.
Refunds
: If you’re not satisfied with the product for any reason contact us for return details and return the product within 30 days and we’ll refund the original purchase price less any shipping costs. Buyer pays return shipping.
